Diva opened in March 2010 just in front of Klang Plaza 2. It replaces a club that was called the Fun Factory.

The place is a big bar with live band and a DJ. They play techno, dance and hip hop. Some large TV screens shows sports and the place closes very late (2:30 am at the moment)

The band has many singers, males and females.

This picture is taken from a balcony.

Doors of the bathrooms.
The place attracts a lot of people, from 20 to 40 yo, especially around 1pm. Live music and DJ alternates about every 45 minutes.
The laser and lights are really beautiful but this is not the club to go if you don't like loud music. The sound of the videos doesn't represent the reality.

The entrance
Krungtep Rasima is a popular bar in Korat. They have live bands and do some shows. It's located right in front up "update" or "after". It location B on this map. It used to be called RCA few years ago
They open around 9pm but it starts to be full more or less around 11pm. A live band plays Thai songs, rock and folk. They are quite good. You might see a ladyboy making a show and jokes in Thai. Similar to what was " target="_blank">Speed 2, few years ago.

They also serve food. Some example of their menu and prices are below:

One of their rock singers.

The last show around 1am was very nice. Thai traditional dancing, with costumes. And that was on a Wednesday. This place is huge (same as Da Wang Deang, more or less) and it was not completely full, but people were enjoying the music and dancing everywhere.
This is a brand new bar that opened recently (December 2009?). It used to be called "Pussycat" few years ago, and ZEED after that. It's located just beside Dok Mai Cafe.

The concept is very similar to what was pussycat or "2 peace". You have a band, and coyote girls dancing. Prices are also similar to "2 peace". The band was actually pretty good.

And you have the usual Coyote show on the stage...

Coyote bars are quite popular in Korat but "Swing" and "Coyote Country" just closed. "pussycat" didn't stay open for a long time.
This is a video filmed when it was called ZEED:
Ampawa is a new place very popular for young people (18-25). It's located near Klang Plaza, exactly where was Korat-Texas before.

That is the board you might see. On our GOOGLE MAP, it's on Jomsurang Road, near Chao Phraya Hotel.

It has live music and the band is very good. The place can be crowded early for a bar in Korat, meaning even at 10pm, it can be full. They serve food and drinks and prices are cheap, adapted to the young Thais going there. No cover fee.

Music is normally 'Indie' or 'Rock'.

This picture is not very good but there are even people on the sidewalk!
The place is so crowded that they put tables there, with chairs...
The oldest and cheapest place in town. Also called the "Japanese embassy". We read somewhere that prices are around 900 baht. We were told this place opened bad in the days were the Americans has a base in Nakhon Ratchasima during the VietNam war.
It's located near the pizza shop.
