The Pizza Shop Restaurant opened for business in October 1996  and immediately became the gathering place for local foreigners in Korat.

It also became a favorite meeting place for foreign military personnel visiting Korat for the annual military exercises.  They have been honored with numerous awards from the United States Army, Air Force, and Marines for excellent service during these exercises.
