This is a new restaurant that opened around December 2009, located just beside PB restaurant on Mukkamontri road. You can easily find the placemark of PB restaurant on this map of Korat. The name Krua Gao Kun Gao means something like "kitchen 9 X 9".

We were told the owner studied hotel management in Switzerland and worked as a chef in big hotels in Thailand before deciding to open his place in Korat.

It would be difficult to classify if this is a foreign restaurant or Thai: most dishes are a mix of these 2 cuisines. The place is quite clean, brand new and offers a menu in English. There is a large TV with CDs or videos playing.

The place is an open air restaurant, with no walls, but a portion of the restaurant is under a roof. No problem if it rains.

The menu include a mix of Thai and foreign dishes at good price. The quality of the food is pretty good and presentation is nicely done. On this picture, you can see some red drops of rasberry sauce.

We had this chicken served with salad. The sauce was quite good, mixed of 'peanut' and 'curry'. The dressing salad, even if sweet as normal in Thai, was tasty. It was served with a bread and French fries (see below). For about 120 baht.
