Khao Man Gai Singapore in Korat
This place is located just beside Sri Vichai Hotel, on this map, location J. It's owned by a nice Thai man who used to live in Netherlands. He obviously speaks Thai, but also very well English and Dutch. It's even written in front: WE SPEAK ENGLISH AND DUTCH!
This is a typical small Thai restaurant but the food is excellent. I was recommended to go there by the owner of Bali restaurant, one great place in Korat. He told me that the Moo Krub (crispy pork) was excellent. I had Khao Man Gai (Chicken on rice) and it was a nice one. (picture below)
The front of the restaurant.
Beside the language, this restaurant is also special. He has spicy sauce as Hong Kong and Singapore style. Very tasty.
They are normally closed for dinner. But if you need a quick and good lunch, it's the perfect spot. Great location in the middle of Korat, good food, not expensive, and the owner is very nice.
This is the owner. Very friendly.
This was my meal, 52 baht all included. Chicken (he asked me if I wanted with the skin or not!) served on rice and banana leaf, soup, coca-cola, all sauces.
